Salary: Up to £39,000 depending upon experience.

Location: Esher, Surrey.

The Role 

Our Medical Case Managers remotely coordinate a number of corporate and insured healthcare schemes providing clients with:

  • Medical advice on current treatments and specific treatment plans.
  • Advice on medical services and treatments available in the UK and how to access these.
  • Case Management from initial consultation to discharge.
  • Access to management of Early Intervention Medical Schemes.

24/7 Assistance Coordinator(s) - Healix International


Salary: Up to £28,500 depending on experience 

Location: Esher, Surrey

Healix International is one of the world’s leading providers of international medical, security and travel assistance services.  Every year, Healix is relied upon to ensure the welfare of over 2 million people on behalf of multi-national corporations, governments, non-governmental organisations and insurers, with service and communication being key to everything we do.  From our Esher office we provide the service 7 days per week between 8am and 10pm, outside of these hours the service is provided by our Esher based night staff with support from our teams in New Zealand and Singapore.

The Role

Due to new business, our expanding workload, and a change in our working practices we have new opportunities within Healix International for Assistance Coordinators.

The Assistance Coordinators work alongside our 24 hour assistance and medical teams, including doctors and nurses, as part of a fast paced and diverse team, the role requires the provision of a service responding to the needs of our international clients.  The Assistance Coordinators provide support and advice to policyholders, requiring assistance for medical and other emergency situations that may arise anywhere in the world, by managing their expectations whilst adhering to the terms of the policy and providing a gold standard customer service.  The Assistance Coordinator guides clients through the process in liaison with colleagues for medical cases this may include; assessing a patient’s condition and medical requirements, putting together a care plan and considering whether to use air ambulances or commercial flights with appropriately qualified and equipped medical escorts.

Expatriate Medical Case Manager - Healix International

Our Medical Case Managers, along with Assistance Co-ordinators, remotely coordinate medical requirements and care plans for individuals and their families posted overseas, to ensure we provide care to the highest standard.

Expatriate Assistance Coordinator


Salary: Up to £25,000 depending on experience 

Location: Esher, Surrey

Healix International's expatriate team provide a medical advisory and case management services to British Government employees and their families based overseas. 

The Role

Our Assistance Coordinators work alongside our team of doctors and nurses to remotely coordinate medical requirements and care plans for individuals and their families posted overseas to ensure we provide care to the highest standard. The role is extremely diverse, and may cover:

  • Taking calls and accurately documenting the details withint the Case Management System (CMS)
  • Providing advice to individuals calling for assistance within the guidelines as directed by the Government department.

  • Monitoring on-going cases taking account of the medical team’s direction to ensure that appropriate support is provided, while taking into account local facilities available, patient requirements and cost of care.

  • Providing repatriation support in conjunction with the medical team to ensure that travel is safe, cost effective and well organised.

  • Providing administrative support to the medical team.

  • Formulating care plans with the support of the medical team and providing appropriate guarantee of payments on behalf of staff & their families.
