In addition to traditional private healthcare benefits, we can also include a range of other healthcare benefits within the same healthcare trust contract including Cash Plan and Dental benefits. Furthermore, all healthcare trust clients also benefit from a 24/7 GP Helpline as standard.
We also act as a central hub coordinating provision with other overlapping services, directing employees to the most appropriate benefits whether provided by us, by one of our partners, or through another provider you already have in place. For example, it is not uncommon for an employee to be claiming from the mental health benefit through their company PMI policy when they could be utilising a 24hr telephone counselling service, or even face to face sessions, already funded through their employer’s EAP provider. If there was a joined up approach with the EAP and PMI provider, costs could be mitigated to reduce annual spend, but more importantly the employee would receive the most appropriate immediate care.
Furthermore, we can also provide you with valuable clinical insight and intelligence which can be shared with the underwriters of your other group schemes such as Income Protection, Critical Illness, iPMI and Life insurance. This insight can assist further in ensuring the most appropriate use of benefits across your whole healthcare provision and the most effective use of your overall healthcare budget.

Providing employees with online access to details of their health cover and personalised benefit communications. Access is also provided to an eHealth wellbeing tool simulating a face-to-face consultation with an occupational health psychologist, assessing six key areas of wellbeing.
The platform also provides access to Healix Rewards, our lifestyle benefits programme, delivering high street discounts at a range of outlets.
For an additional fee, clients can also utilise the portal to host details of other employee benefits they may provide. E.g. life insurance, cycle to work scheme etc.
Training is available to help your managers spot signs and symptoms of mental health issues, offer initial help and guide an employee towards support. The intention is to give employees the tools to look after themselves and each other, to access early intervention and support when it is needed and promote a positive approach to mental health and wellbeing in the workplace. The aim is not to teach managers to be therapists but to be able to listen and respond, even in a crisis.
