Terms of Use for e-Learning
Words in paragraph 1.1 below, that have an asterisk* are defined in the Definitions section at the end of this document.
1. Access and use
1.1. Access to the e-Learning services is provided to you* by virtue of an agreement entered into between the Principal* and Healix*, for the provision of the Services.
1.2. You are authorised to access and use the services pursuant to that agreement and on registering using the Registration Number provided by your Principal.
1.3. If you terminate your agreement with the Principal, your access to this Service will come to an end.
1.4. Whilst using the Service certain features may require internet access, therefore if your internet connection fails or if there is a power cut or failure, the services may not be available at that time.
2. Account and privacy
2.1. As part of the online registration process, you will be required to provide your email address as your user name and choose a password. You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account, and you are solely responsible for any and all activities that occur under your account.
2.2. You agree to notify Healix immediately of any unauthorised use of your account or any other breach of security. Healix shall not be liable for any loss that you may incur as a result of a third party using your password or account, either with or without your knowledge.
2.3. All registration data provided by you or on your behalf must be current, complete and accurate and you are solely responsible for updating such registration data as necessary.
2.4. You are hereby informed that by completing your registration, your registration data is stored by Healix for the purposes of managing your account and in the event that services are required.
2.5. Registration Data is limited to the following: Name, email address, name of company and position and registration code.
2.6. When using this service you agree to Healix collecting and sharing the following information with your Principal’s point of contact only: Name, email address, confirmed user of the application including date registration created, last login date, e-learning score including modules completed and e-learning completion date.
3. Restrictions
3.1. Reverse engineering. Except to the extent permitted by law, you may not modify, distribute, prepare derivative works of, reverse engineer, reverse assemble, disassemble, decompile or otherwise attempt to decipher any code used in connection with the services and/or any other aspect of Healix’s technology.
3.2. Abuse. You shall not access and/or engage in any use of the services (i) in a manner that abuses or materially disrupts the networks, security systems, services and/or websites of Healix and/or (ii) to communicate any message or material that is deemed harassing, threatening, indecent, obscene, slanderous, or otherwise unlawful.
3.3. Illegal purposes. You shall not use the services for fraudulent or illegal purposes.
3.4. Resale. You shall not market, offer to sell, sell and/or otherwise resell or provide the services to any third party.
4. Term and termination
4.1. Term. Your use of the Service shall commence on your registration and shall continue until you cease to have an agreement with the Principal or the agreement between Healix and your Principal is terminated.
4.2. Termination for cause. Healix reserves the right to terminate your access to the Service immediately if you breach any of the terms of section 3 (Restrictions), above.
4.3. Effect of termination. Upon termination in accordance with sections 4.1 or 4.2 above you will no longer be authorised to use the Service and Healix will immediately disable your account.

5.1. Please follow this link for more information on how Healix will process and keep secure your personal data in compliance with data protection obligations.
Definitions
Throughout this Terms of Use document, the definitions below shall apply:
Healix: means Healix International Limited, registered in England and Wales, (Registered Number: 3912483) with its registered office at Healix House, Esher Green, Esher, Surrey KT10 8AB.
Principal: means (i) an insurer with whom you have a valid insurance policy, which entitles you to the Services; or (ii) an employer with whom you have a current contract of employment.
You: means the person who has a contract of insurance with a Principal (including any named beneficiaries) or the person who has a contract of employment with a Principal (including any authorised dependents as agreed with that employer).
