Healix supports Claygate Youth and Community Hub

Healix, recently demonstrated our commitment to community wellbeing by making a substantial donation to the Claygate Youth and Community Hub. This local charity, situated near Healix’s Esher head office, plays a crucial role in providing activities and support services for young people aged 11 - 19.

‘The Hub’ serves as a safe haven for young individuals, offering them a welcoming space to socialise, learn new skills, and seek guidance when needed. The charity is entirely volunteer-led, relying on both time and financial support to sustain its operations. The recent donation from Healix is expected to significantly bolster the hub’s capabilities, enabling it to continue fostering a positive environment for local youth. In 2024, The Hub has ambitious plans to further develop its external space by building a Multi-Use Ground Area, and internally and internally to create both an art studio and sensory space to support the community's needs.

“We are delighted to support The Hub,” shared Ian Talbot, CEO at Healix Health, “This charity holds immense importance to us as it operates in close proximity to our head office in Esher. The vision is to create a community where all young people have access to the support, resources, and opportunities they need to thrive and succeed, and I am proud that we can play a role in supporting this vision.

 Healix encourages employees to actively participate in community initiatives, not only through financial contributions but also by volunteering their time. As a volunteer-led charity, The Hub is continually seeking assistance, be that through hands-on activities such as picking up a paintbrush, helping with building maintenance and updates or spending time mentoring young individuals. Working together we can build a stronger community and a better future!
