It’s official – Healix is the best Healthcare Trust provider

For the 7th time in 8 years, Healix Health Services has been recognised by UK health insurance intermediaries as the Best Healthcare Trust Provider in the prestigious annual Health Insurance Awards that took place in London on 18th October.

The trophy was presented to Susie Morris, Business Development Director for Healix Healthcare Trusts by the host for the evening, comedian Jimmy Carr, in front of an audience of about 1,000 people from across the health insurance industry.

A Healthcare Trust is an alternative way of funding healthcare benefits for employees. Instead of paying premiums to an insurance company, the money is placed in a healthcare trust fund which is used to fund claims. They offer many advantages over traditional private medical insurance including greater flexibility in scheme design and the fact that if claims fall below the estimated amount, the funds can be retained instead of being lost as additional profit to an insurer.
