Healix International strengthens Australia team with new senior hires

Healix International has strengthened its team in Australia with two key senior appointments to accelerate the company's expansion in the Asia-Pacific region.
The appointments closely follow the launch of Healix International’s new Melbourne office, underscoring the company’s commitment to the region and its strategy to deliver tailored, people-first risk and healthcare solutions to clients across the region.
- Cheryl Hood has been appointed Strategic Relationship Director, bringing extensive experience in building high-value client partnerships within the travel, insurance and medical assistance industries. In her new role, she will focus on strengthening relationships with key stakeholders in the insurance sector.
- Amro Fahmi joins as Business Development Director, tasked with driving new opportunities and expanding the firm’s footprint in Asia-Pacific. With a strong background in business development and client engagement in the global travel risk management sector, he will play a central role in managing existing relationships with clients in Australia and support the company’s travel risk management programme nationwide.
