Healix Hostile Environment Awareness Training (HEAT) in Auckland

17.06.2026
When things go wrong, there’s no backup team, no quick rescue, no second chances. You need people who can think clearly, act decisively and take control. That’s what HEAT delivers.

Hostile environment awareness training (HEAT)

We’re running our accredited HEAT programme at Moto Moana Camp, Auckland, from 24 - 27 August 2026.

Designed for organisations with people working in high-risk, remote or low-support environments, this course focuses on the decisions that matter most in the first moments of an incident.

Over 3.5 days, participants work through controlled, realistic scenarios - from security threats to trauma care. They assess risk, make decisions and respond as a team using only what’s available. Practitioners with real operational experience lead the training, building capability people can use straight away. Accommodation, meals and all training materials are included.

What you will gain:

  • Practical security awareness for high-risk environments
  • Life-saving medical skills for remote and austere settings
  • Decision-making under pressure through realistic simulations
  • Confidence to operate independently with limited support

Be ready when it matters most

Don’t wait for a crisis to expose the gaps. Download the course outline or register your interest today.
