The brief
Having worked with Maintel since 2011 to ensure their employees receive the best healthcare possible, Maintel are one of Healix's longest standing clients. Our practice of having all cases managed by qualified nurses was an additional draw when we were originally enlisted to help ensure Maintel's healthcare offering provided the most flexible and adaptable benefits for all its staff. Through our bespoke offering and clinical governance, we gave Maintel peace of mind that their employees would get the best and most appropriate care possible. We also provided them with reassurance that cost containment would be a key consideration for its dedicated account management team at Healix.
Our approach
To ensure a seamless onboarding experience, we worked closely with Maintel to assist the quick and efficient move of members into their new healthcare scheme. Through a series of workshops and webinars, we educated members on the ins and outs of their new corporate healthcare trust, how it differs from private medical insurance and all of the benefits they now had available to them through Healix. To ensure a seamless transition and service adaption to their unique needs, we worked closely with Maintel's senior management team to help with ongoing claims at the time of transition, providing additional reassurance that claims would be integrated into their new scheme seamlessly.
The bespoke nature of our approach meant that we are able to provide a level of flexibility with Maintel's offering year-on-year and easily update and change with them as their business and workforce demographic does the same. Since Maintel began their Corporate Healthcare Trust with Healix, we have adapted to include options for physiotherapy and musculoskeletal conditions, as well as self-referral pathways for mental health treatment. To continue the education of members, we continue to run webinars on our digital services like our Virtual GP service, helping to connect members with GP appointments and treatments where needed. This has proved especially beneficial during the global COVID-19 pandemic.
Results
As a result, we have been able to continue providing a seamless service to Maintel despite the disruption caused by the pandemic and member engagement has been high. Our flexibility and bespoke service has led to Maintel renewing with us time and again, and we look forward to proactively working with the business to tailor its Corporate Healthcare Trust to its employees needs.
