Working with Tata Consultancy Services to onboard a large scheme with bespoke needs.
The brief
Healix has been working with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), the global leader in IT services, for several years, originally acting on a delegated authority basis for a separate insurance plan provided by Generali.
In late 200, TCS looked out to the market for new healthcare plan options. Having provided a great service under the Generali scheme and receiving excellent feedback on our quick response times, TCS decided to move into a direct relationship with Healix.
Our brief was to bring the existing plan under our own Corporate Healthcare Trust scheme, giving TCS greater control over their healthcare spend while enabling them to access a bespoke, flexible offering for TCS's 25,000 members.
Our approach
The Healix team acted quickly to onboard the business into the new scheme, working over the 2020 festive period to ensure that the renewal was complete and members could call in for authorisations as soon as possible.
Results
Under the new scheme, TCS members have access to a bespoke range of Healix's offering, including the virtual GP service, which offers members 24-hour access to a GP doctor anywhere in the world - a key solution for employees living abroad or travelling regularly. Other benefits include improved access to assistive reproductive technology, following member feedback on the previous scheme, and gender dysphoria benefits such as mental health treatment, paid prescriptions and consultations.
Since working directly with TCS, Healix continued to receive excellent feedback on response times and claims handling processes. Healix has also provided TCS with ongoing, bespoke support outside of the Healthcare Trust Scheme, coordinating PCR-testing for the many TCS employees who are required to travel as part of their role.
