Mental Health and Wellbeing Screening

Healix Reflect is a comprehensive mental health screening tool designed to support your duty of care.

We believe in being proactive, not just reactive, when it comes to mental health.

There’s been a long-standing gap in mental health screening and support. Huge steps have been made to identify, manage and support people with anxiety or depression, but there’s much more to mental health than just these two conditions.

Introducing Healix Reflect

That’s why we've developed Healix Reflect - a comprehensive mental health and wellbeing screening tool which enables businesses to screen employee mental wellbeing against all major psychiatric disorders. The goal is to identify signs of specific disorders and offer simple and easy-to-understand results that flag potential areas of concern. So that you can help protect the people you're responsible for.

How can you use Healix Reflect?

Accessible through a secure, self-service portal, Healix Reflect offers a quick and simple approach to mental health screening, empowering you to proactively address concerns. It can be used in several ways:
  • To manage employee welfare in high-stress roles or after incidents at work
  • Before, during or after short trips or longer-term deployments
  • As general screening for employees, students, volunteers or patients
  • Pre-employment screening as part of a health standard
  • As part of employee assistance programmes to address workplace stress
  • As part of a more comprehensive risk assessment service for insurers
  • As screening in a medical setting such as routine mental health assessments
  • For higher education institutions to manage students' mental health challenges
  • Before, during and after stressful periods such as university exams

Mental health screening in an instant

What happens after the screening?

Our sophisticated algorithm identifies the presence and severity of various mental health symptoms. Based on responses, individuals are grouped into three different risk profiles:

Once completed, individuals receive information to help them manage their mental health and seek the right support and assistance, while you get a simple report categorising their risk level so you can tailor the appropriate response.

What concerns does our wide-range screening check for?

  • Depressive disorders
  • Phobic and anxiety disorders
  • Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)
  • Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
  • Eating disorders
  • Mania and bipolar affective disorder
  • Schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders
  • Alcohol use disorders
  • Substance misuse disorders
  • Memory problems

The history behind Healix Reflect

Driven by clinical expertise

Healix Reflex was developed in-house by Dr Luke Kane, a practising NHS GP and Senior Medical Officer at Healix, with specialist advice provided by Dr James Dove, an Emergency Liaison Psychiatrist. Dr James was responsible for setting up one of London’s busiest acute mental health crisis assessment services. Together they know the key criteria to assess.

There's been a long-standing gap in mental health screening and support, particularly for conditions beyond the more commonly discussed anxiety and depression. Healix Reflect fills this gap, offering a comprehensive assessment that can guide individuals to the right support and resources.
