What happens after the screening?

Our sophisticated algorithm identifies the presence and severity of various mental health symptoms. Based on responses, individuals are grouped into three different risk profiles:

Level 1: Good mental health
Level 2: Potential for concern
Level 3: Consideration needed

Once completed, individuals receive information to help them manage their mental health and seek the right support and assistance, while you get a simple report categorising their risk level so you can tailor the appropriate response.

The history behind Healix Reflect

Driven by clinical expertise

Healix Reflex was developed in-house by Dr Luke Kane, a practising NHS GP and Senior Medical Officer at Healix, with specialist advice provided by Dr James Dove, an Emergency Liaison Psychiatrist. Dr James was responsible for setting up one of London’s busiest acute mental health crisis assessment services. Together they know the key criteria to assess.

Online screening, such as that offered by Healix Reflect, stands as one of the quickest and easiest means to assess whether individuals are exhibiting symptoms of mental health issues. Although screening doesn't offer a formal diagnosis, it serves as a robust tool to pinpoint symptoms and gauge the need for additional support.

The screening is suitable to be taken by those aged 16 years and older.
Designed for users to self-assess their emotional and mental wellbeing, Healix Reflect involves a brief questionnaire. While not intended for emergency situations, this self-assessment tool is instrumental in recognising signs related to specific types of disorders. Questions within the screening were carefully designed to be inclusive and sensitive to the wide spectrum of mental health issues, avoiding medical jargon to make the tool accessible to non-specialists and to ensure cultural sensitivity.

Upon completing the questionnaire, users receive guidance and relevant resources. Additionally, based on their answers, recommendations for further support can be made where appropriate.

It should take the user less than 30 minutes to complete a screening. Immediately following the brief questionnaire, the individual will see their results, recommendations and key resources. A summary of their overall risk rating will also be sent to the organisation who are undertaking the screening.
While a user’s personal information and overall assessment rating can be shared with the client, their responses to specific screening questions will be kept confidential from employers.
